I've been struggling with food and body image for about a year now, and in the past week it's gotten to the point where I'd only eat 600-800 calories a day. Then I knew something needed to change. I binged last night and woke up this morning all bloated and big, but I don't feel ashamed. I don't feel the need to eat though. I'll probably restrict today, but is it possible I never had an eating disorder and that what my body needed for the past week was just a binge to get calories back

All things are possible I guess - but if you've had problems with body image for some time, and you are restricting to 600 calories - it sounds like you have a developing ED and it is important you seek help quickly. EDs develop quickly and spiral out of control - taking over your whole life - so do please seek some help. ABC's website and helpline are very helpful and you might like to take a look.
