I'm 16 stone now and feel as though in in the middle of a huge hurricane, clinging onto the idea of being slim once again but never getting it done. Dieting buddy needed urgently please !

Thanks for replying. Yes its tough, especially when I got all this off before and kept it off for years. Irs life style changes which didn't help but basically its me, losing my dieting way, and getting back to terrible habits like secret planned binges. Today, is one day. I'm trying to impress that on myself and today, this one day, I will do my best to stick to my meal plan. Tomorrow, I'll try and do it again, but for now, in looking at 24 hours. X

I find this post really triggering :( did you mean to post it here?

Yes where else would I post it? What do you mean by "triggering"

In a forum where the purpose is to support those wishing to lose weight in a healthy way and where dieting buddies are regularly sought and found. I'm just surprised that it would be appropriate to be talking about weightloss and popular diets (e.g. The 5:2) in an eating disorders forum. Clearly I am the only one that does find this thread difficult so sorry if I have offended you.

Ok my apologies also to you. I am not on 5:2 - you were replying to dotty lady. For me, for what its worth 5:2 didn't work. Too much of the eat days and eventually no diet days, but, whatever floats your boat I suppose. If its doing it for her, good luck to her. Personally, in trying to eat healthy, also take in calcium rich foods having just been diagnosed with osteoporosis.

And its day 3!!! So for me, that's a miracle :)

Hi there, I am new to these forums but found this post looking at BED posts. I began bingeing whilst trying to recover from anorexia and have managed to go from underweight to overweight in less than 6 months now, with the number on the scale always rising. I was also classified as obese before my anorexia, so I seem to have been there, done that but not been able to wear the t-shirt because it didn't fit anymore for whatever reason! I would love to be weight loss buddies with you so we can try to support and inspire each other x
