Sorry to hear of your troubles Yess and that can be scary when in recovery. How about adding protein shakes or something similar into your diet? Also doubling up on some of your meal items might help. One thing I changed was switching from fat free everything to either low fat or regular and that seemed to help!

Take care!!

Hi yess :) spiritedlady gave you a few pearls of wisdom there! yess do you see a dietitian? If not could you ask your GP to refer you to one? (I know it is expensive, but professional help is not forever) You could try following a diet designed for the Celiac condition, if you do have Celiac condition the recommendations will work immediately :) Sorry to be personal but what sort of job do you do? That's too mean to alsobe putting up with IBS . Congratulations on your recovery so far :)

Hi,

I agree with the others who have replied. Eating extra protein may help to stabilise your weight whilst you are awaiting the test results. It may help to include these as snacks so that you eat more often in the day. Switching from fat-free to normal levels will also benefit you.

Have you tried keeping a food diary and see whether there are any patterns with your IBS symptoms?

Can you go back to one of the meal plans you had when you were recovering from anorexia?

I wish you all the best

I would suggest keeping a food and exercise/activity diary for a few days, including weekends, as this might help you see any gaps that have started to appear. It might be anxiety provoking to find yourself back in the mode of needing to monitor your food and activity, but if you don't have a clear idea of what you are eating it is difficult to change. Good luck!
