Has there been any discussions out there regarding AMN & CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing? Apparently there have been successful results with Sickle Cell disease.

I wonder if this technology can work with the ABCD1 mutation?

No scientific interest into our disease as yet. This technology continues apace.

Quite a few posts about Crispr on here. I think most from me.

A long way to go with Crispr yet, but look how fast technology is moving in all areas. If the will (and funding) is there I am sure it could happen.

As usual it’s about the funding. Money will always be the driving force.
