I have heard them called "silent migraines".

Just updated my site with a news article about them.

Have a read, folks. I know it isn't just me.

Hi monkey, I used to have migraines when I was younger. The words I was typing used to develop red lines under them, this my first sign that one was about to start. I knew that I didn’t have time to drive myself home before it would hit me with reduced vision and severe pain. They used to wipe me out for about three days. I don’t know why but they ceased to affect me in my mid 30s, can’t say I miss them😂😂

I've never had the pain. Just the visual thingamubobs.

First time, I really thought I'd detached a retina or something. Or like when someone fires a flash gun from a camera and you get the residual thing in your eye for minutes afterwards... Except it goes on for an hour or so.

I used to have weekly migraines when I was younger, until my early to mid 20s.

i overcame my migraines when I stopped sleeping in on weekends, while keeping business hours and late nights during the week. The sleeping in triggered my migraines.

After changing my sleeping habit, the migraines stopped! The migraines used to be the blinding, eye-searing, stay undercover all day until sundown types.

Now I'm 55 and I do get considerably milder migraines if I'm dehydrated. Since I know this, I keep myself hydrated.

I've heard some here or on other amn forums mention migraines.
