I was wondering if anyone else with a AMN have tried lipid exchange treatments and if you had any success with them? Or any feedback

I haven't heard of this, so obviously haven't tried it. Anyone have info on it?

From a little bit of research I conducted just now, this form of treatment is used to eliminate toxins in the body for people whose liver may not be functioning adequately. The liver is the body's natural detoxification mechanism, so when the liver is functioning properly, detox therapies are probably redundant.

Quite a lot of sites claim success for neurological diseases but the way the therapy works is not explained. There are no scientific studies or clinical research to back up any claims that I can see from a quick scan.

As with all alternative therapies, the first thing to ask about is safety - will it do more harm than good? There may be no problems; none seem to be documented. And such therapies inevitably attract some proponents with unscrupulous motives who wish to profit from people seeking relief .

None of which says this may not have some benefit. But, do your own research before spending your money.

Best wishes

Chris
