Well will be having surgery in the morning. I found out that I have breast cancer in the first stage. They say lucky but I say I'm blessed.

It is hard having this diagnosis when it has not even been a year since my sister past away from this very same disease. Cancer has been in my family throughout many generations, but I never thought it would hit me. Not being selfish but just never imagined this. One thing I can say is that I Thank God for letting me go and see about myself and they were able to catch it early. Not looking forward to chemotherapy for the next 5yrs of my life, but it is necessary. It is even harder because I am in a state where there is no family here, so I feel pretty isolated at times. But thank God once again for Church family who are very supportive when they can be. I pray that you all have wonderful support systems.
