Oh dear, badmedicine, I hope your doctor has the sense to provide you with a bridging medication as discontinuation after more than one shot is what's implicated in the rebound osteoporosis. I do hope these nasty side effects wear off quickly. Your doctor needs to make a formal report about your serious reaction to the med. Maybe you can too, I'm afraid I don't know how to go about it but maybe another forum member can help out?

I'm sorry the doctors misled you so poorly, badmedicine...this is what they do. I do not understand how they can prescribe and suggest that women/men take these obscene bone meds! Please do not just go off of Prolia now! After 3 treatments you will now have to take another bone med, because if you do not, you will have rebound fractures! Prolia causes these after TWO infusions and you've had THREE. I want to know when these meds are going to be taken off the market!

Thank you for sharing your personal experience, badmedicine. The other users are correct that you need to consult with your doctor before discontinuing Prolia. They can help you manage the chance of increased risk of fractures.

Where is the proof of ‘pharmaceutical prevention ‘of fracture?

Gotta love that ‘customer for life’ thing that Big Pharma has going with this one.
