I have severe osteoporosis (and do not want to start medication!!!), autoimmune hepatitis, hypothyroid, and possible kidney issues....anyone else with multiple health concerns and how are you handling it???

Sorry to hear you have an assortment of different health problems, and I'm sure you weren't happy to have osteoporosis added to the list! Do you know what your t-scores are? I was initially led to believe I had severe osteoporosis, but subsequently discovered that, though my spine score is low, many others have much worse scores than me. Also, have you fractured at all, as that's an important factor in determining the risk (of future fracture) posed by your osteoporosis?

Just joined tonight I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in April of this year. I have had 9 fractures since January 26th. The pain is unbelievable!!! My rheumatologist is trying to get me on Forteo my insurance company has denied me my Dr is appealing it now. I was not aware the medication for osteoporosis is so bad for you. I would love to hear your opinion & suggestions.
