October of last year I had an MRI of my brain to check out why I have lost my sense of smell. The MRI showed a couple of areas.where I had small strokes. I did agreement tests at the neurologist that indicate.I hsve mild cognitive impairment. More tests to be done BUT... from online research inhave done I have found out an over the counter.medication (Tylenol PM) in particular benadryl has been shown to negatively impact cognitive function. I had been taking Tylenol PM every night to help with chronic insomnia for about 10 years. Also found out that prilosec I had been taking every day since 2011, Jas been also linked to.cognitive impairment.

Has anyone here had a similar experience? What have you done about it?

Also, a word to everyone, if you have been taking these.meds stop.

I am trying a new med for chronic insomnia and have stopped the others
