I need help!

My mother is being kicked out of the facility she is in, we can no longer afford it and I am unable to locate somewhere to move her. Every agency I reach out to gives me the run around. I have 30 to find a place that is medi cal and has a bed

When you say, "I have 30 to find a place '. . .," I assume you mean 30 days." Is that right? When you meet with the representative of an agency, ask if they can refer you to another agency that can help you meet the deadline. See if there's a way to contact Medi Cal directly. Also, ask to see a social worker at your mother's current facility and ask if they can refer you to an appropriate facility.

Yes sorry 30 days. The worker at the facility she's at is of no help at all. It's a private facility. I will try to contact medi cal directly tomorrow, thank u for that suggestion

JayKay777 gives wise advice. I would also suggest calling the ALZ Assoc. 24/7 Hotline or your local chapter. Often they have local connections who act as coordinating case managers for families. Leads for places come, at least for me, from the oddest connections. Good luck
