Almus Levothyroxine 100mg ATA**** Batch Numbers
I usually get
Almus
boxed
Levothyroxine
with is actually Accord brand inside whic has batch numbers TA****. I stay away from batch numbers starting ATA as these are test batches, strangely enough if I get Accord and boxed as Accord I have never seen anything But TA.

Mixing levothyroxine brands - Almus and Teva
As I continue to be symptomatic and my TSH has risen to 2.03 my GP has agreed to a trial increase in dose from 100mcg to 125mcg. I’ve picked up my prescription for the additional 25mcg and noticed they’re a different brand. My 100mcg tablets are Almus and the new ones are Teva. Has / is anyone else

Where is T4 tablet broken down
Where is T4 levothyroxine tablet broken down in the body. Is it in the stomach or small intestine or both? I am on antibiotics at the moment and have had stomach upset today and diarrhoea, and this is the reason for my question and whether it has affected absorption of the tablet I took my tablet

I speed from Armour Thyroid (1 grain am 3/4 pm ) last Monday to 50 mcg Levo and 10mcg Liothyronibe am and another 10 mcg pm. Bloods done Tuesday am (last dose T4 24 hrs before and split T3 am/3:00 pm and 7:30 pm). Only water before test at 7:30 am. Results below. I’m wondering how quickly the change

T3 only and heart rate
Hi all, I was started on liothyronine only 6 months ago and it has been life changing. It has resolved 4 years of debilitating symptoms, including chronic fatigue. I have faulty D102 and am a poor converter. I was finally taken off levothyroxine following abnormal ECG and tachycardia. I had a scan and

Hypothyroidism symptoms, in range results, potential next steps?
Hi, I've had fatigue and stomach issues for around 10 years following a bout of food poisoning however in the last few years these symptoms have become worse and now cover most of the symptoms named by the NHS for hypothyroidism, including in the last year or so developing what I assume is a goitre.

Decrease in levothyroxine again!!
Any ideas why for 8 weeks I’ll be on 100mg and then I’ll have blood test and I’ll have to be decreased to 75mg then 8 weeks later I’ll have a blood test and it will be put back to 100mg and now again it’s being decreased it’s so frustrating. I feel awful when on 75mg but they don’t listen to how I feel

TSH and FT4 Levels
After round 1 failing I discovered my thyroid was under active. Since then I’ve been on Levothyroxine and today found out my TSH is 2.45 (it was 5.2) and FT4 is 20.6. The doctor has given us the go ahead for round 2 but am unsure if it’s too borderline and no idea what FT4 should be or if it effects

hello, I’ve had my recent medichecks results back and I don’t really know what they mean. The cover letter says that I’m on the correct dose of levothyroxine and my levels are fine. As I’m still exhausted and struggling I’d appreciate any advice you could give me. Thanks so much in advance 😁 btw

Nosebleeds and thyroid / blood test query / going private
Hi there :) You were all so helpful when I was first diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year, and I was hoping I could trouble you all with another question. - My levothyroxine was raised to 75mg a day in February based on my NHS blood test (TSH 5.91 mU/L, free T4 15.8pmol/L). - Not really sure if

British Thyroid Foundation ?
Came across this https://www.btf-thyroid.org/thyroid-function-tests#tft5 when searching for info to try and help with current GP pig headedness. Think I now know some of the reasons why GP is being so closed about discussion. States must keep TSH in range, if below can cause osteoporosis and long

Hypothyroid with MS
No question, but an introduction and interested in other peoples’ experience. I’ve been hypothyroid for seven years and benign MS for 20 years. Thankfully, just a limp and no progression. The link between the two conditions is that MS gives me fatigue and muscle spasticity. Hypothyroid on top of that

No wonder I’m feeling unwell again. TSH up, T4 and T3 down. So glad I have started on 75mcgs Levo now. Hopefully I’ll start to feel better again soon.

Why do I suddenly feel terrible but still taking Armour?
I have been happy as a clam and able to function and be part of the world since I started Armour two grains a day in Sept 2022. This was after a year on levo that did nothing for me. Around Xmas 2023, I started feeling sluggish and constipated. Bloods were done mid Feb through my private thyroid doctor
