Sensitive mouth

My mouth has become so sensitive to everything,salt,spicy even soda burns. Feels like another part of me is gone.is there medicine for the sore mouth? Does any body know?

hello Kamalor from Nurse Gladys Emanuel (open all hours) I too have a sore mouth sore tongue sore gums, I blamed it on medications. I use Difflam mouthwash, you can buy it but a doctor will prescribe it too. don,t buy the spray as they are often faulty and expensive!! good luck

I can't eat salt where before I liked it, my taste buds are enhanced so everything is stronger than it was before so I can't have vinegar, seasoning, anything spicy, I can only eat plain food where before I could eat anything.

I have had this for over a year and i have asked the doctor about it and nobody seems to know why. it started with smelling every thing so powerfully. I also have Sjögren's too. and a few other things. I thought it may be Sjögren's; as it has attacted my salivary glands. i canot use toothpast as it burns my mouth and Tongue, i do use a toothpast i bought on amazon made up with lots on natural things, it has'nt stopped my teeth from going bad though.

My doc told me to take vit B1 ..and I'll be darned if it doesn't work..

lol out of all things, who would have thought...

And trust me I tried all of the over the counter stuff...didn't work...

It might take a couple days...Give it time..AND..once your mouth feels better you can stop taking it and then start agin if you feel like the issue is coming back again....

I too have this issue and i use majic swizzle fpr when its sore my dr wrote a script for it.
