Iv had my second pacemaker and new leads fitted 18 months ago. Iv had a few nasty AF attacks. Any suggestions to relieve them

Af attack
Against what some will say, I have concluded that you cannot, sadly. AF will have its way, whatever. You can try magnesium tablets of any kind (even Rennies), but, unless you are lucky to have a placebo effect - well, at least Rennies taste pleasant! The PM is only pacing the downstairs rooms, the ventricles, and will protect your heart from going too slowly and stopping deterioration in its muscle.
How do you feel with your episodes. I get them far more often these days along with lots of ectopic bumpy beats?

It really would be helpful if you told us a little more We are not medically trained but each of us know something about AF, and how it affects us, and some know much more about AF. I have read some of your earlier posts, but am not much the wiser
You were on Bisoprolol, are you still on it? Are you on any other medication? I know you have stated that all medication is poison and all medication has side effects. Three years ago you were waiting to see a cardiologist, what happened?
My AF after nearly 30 years since the first AF episode, is now permanent, though asymptomatic. I take no medication for it except an anticoagulant.
Why are you getting more episodes since having a new pacemaker. Is it cause and effect, or something else? I doubt it's because you've had a new pacemaker.
