And greetings back to you. Welcome ( to our corner of) Health Unlocked. You've put AF on your bio so you might like to browse the AF association's website for any info too.

Hi - ask away! Your bio gives no information, and it is anonymous, completely, so details such as age, gender, medical history are all useful and safe to put on it as then any advice can be more suited to your particular needs.

Welcome and hello. I hope you find all of us on here friendly and helpful. I was so pleased l found this forum when l was first diagnosed. I hadn’t even heard of AF and it was a very scary time. My anxiety became very high and l thought my life was over, but l couldn’t have been more wrong. With the help of the very knowledgeable folks on here l was able to cope and understand what was happening. AF is not a terminal illness, it’s treatable and there are a lot of us who are on the same journey. Many have had AF for years, and you eventually learn to live with it and have a good quality of life. This is a great place to be when you are worried, so don’t hesitate to ask and although we are all different, there is usually someone who has had the same problem. Best wishes to you.
