Thanks for further replies. Yes it may well be coincidence and I am no anti-vaxer! I’ve always been more worried, hacking hearse disease, about the effects of covid than of the vaccine. It’s been a helpful discussion and I’ll see what cardio says tomorrow. I’m sure he will say it’s coincidence but hope I get a plan

Perhaps the anxiety got the better of you.

I eat 1/2 banana and drink water. That in itself changes the thinking. Indulgence, jab and more banana and more drink. Then I waited the 20minutes we were told to.

I am ready to try anything at all, so your suggestion is on my list with thanks. It just so happens that I ate a banana this morning and didn't even have my decaf coffee and my talk that I had to give went well. I also know that when I go for a walk outside that I don't dwell on the palpitations as much. Weird though, that my 2 "events" with close to syncope happened in the wee hours of the night & not when I was anxious.
