Vaccine with AF and Edoxaban

Hi Everyone I at last had my vaccine yesterday at 9. 15am. I wanted to put people’s minds at rest concerning AF.

Apart from an ache in my arm where the jab went in I feel much better than I thought I would. AF normal with no spikes.

So glad, as I was worrying about this.

It’s only a small contribution to this website but might help others that haven’t had the vaccine yet.

Ditto Sacha27 :)). I had vaccination on Thursday, and have had no adverse reactions either.

Me too! Oxford AZ and no reaction at all, apart from a few short atrial runs (which are quite normal for me anyway). Mightily relieved!

I had the Pfizer one, the day after I was back to normal. I have a few health issues and was worried but all is good.

I had the AZ vaccine on Friday and felt rotten all day Saturday. My temp was 103.2 and it felt just like flu. I am fine today.

Congrats! Great to know it’s over and done! Just had my 1st Moderna shot yesterday. Husband getting his today. Looking forward to getting the 2nd one is 4 weeks time and hoping for only mild side effects after that one. I hear that it can be a doozy!

Well I’m a bit late with mine as I live in an area where everyone retires to so a lot of people older than me. Made a lot of calls but couldn’t get jab until last Friday. Hope all goes well with you and Husband, keep safe.

Thanks Sacha. It’s been nearly two months since my first jab but this week have had bad cold symptoms and feeling more run down than normal. Decided the lockdown has finally got to me. Pacemaker is running better than I am !!

I have not been so lucky. I had my second shot on Thursday. A few hours later I had mild aches and pains and low fever and went into Afib. All symptoms left after several hours except Afib. Still in Afib, Sunday evening...haven’t had anything like this for over three years. So afraid it won’t go away.
