Good news, it seems a hologram is very effective in showing the surgeon exactly where the rogue electrical impulse is travelling so he/she can zap it. bbc.co.uk/programmes/p08nyrng

Sounds like it will save many of the almost automatic second ablations as well as avoid over burning where not necessary.

Talking of ablations of the future I am waiting with interest for the results of the 'Pulsed' trials, I first posted about the PFA technique a couple of years ago it is now being developed by a number of companies and the results are looking good ..
