Hi everyone. I am two week post ablation for svt and I was just wondering if anyone else had light sensitivity as a side effect? Since the procedure my vision has been bright. It’s kind of hard to explain. Otherwise the only issues I’ve had are some ectopic heartbeats. I am so ready to be back to normal.

Sounds possible migraine aura related as we discuss in fact sheet on recovery.
Could be a problem if you are on amiodarone.
Hi. Most definitely. I am 3mths post ablation and 1mth post watchman implant. Both required cardiac septum puncture to reach left atrium which is normal practice for these procedures. I suffered numerous migraines with aura and severe light sensitivity which i am still suffering. Cardiologist has said this will improve as puncture wound heals. Meanwhile living in sunny Queensland Australia is a painful experience. I found at about 2 mths post ablatio
it was greatly improved but am worse again after the second procedure. Hang in there it will improve.
