Coming off metoprolol

stopped Metoprolol a month ago September 1st 2019 ever since I stopped my body feels really stiff I didn't know it was going on muscles cramping almost as if they're up going to pull so I ended up going to the ER I was wanting to know if this is a side effect of coming off the drug my previous blood pressure before I got diagnosed with hyperthyroid as I am now hypothyroid used to be pretty normal now when I go to the ER it's not too high it's about 140 but the ER said it's a little high but you're also in a elevated state they muscle tension is slowly going away but I wanted to know if anybody else experienced the muscle stiffness they gave me muscle relaxers and I seem to help I wean myself off of the drug in about a week from 25mg twice a day I am still shooting to try to stay off of it however the muscle stiffness it's pretty hard to deal with it's like your body's and a panic state constantly
