This forum is for people with atrial fibrillation so you may get a better response from another heart related forum on healthunlocked.

Just seen your post. I had a stent fitted on 3 July of 2013 and have made a full recovery i also had chest pain after the procedure but do not recall tiredness apart for that caused by the beta blockers. Was told to take 2 weeks off,4 weeks after the stent the cardiologist gave me the o.k to return to normal aerobic exercise including swimming and gym work and after a further 4 weeks i was told i could undertake plyometric or power lifting type training using weights in the gym and a year later was back to scuba diving after i passed my dive medical. The medication i was put on was plavix (clopidogrel) for 1 Year, Aspirin for life and statins (lipitor 20mg) TALK TO YOUR CARDIOLOGIST ABOUT YOUR SYMPTOMS AND ASK FOR A STRESS ECHOCARDIOGRAM TO CHECK FOR ANY PROBLEMS. Hope this helps.
