I have been on steroids for 1 month now for PMR and last night I had an episode of af which I have not had for over a year now being on 50mg x 2 flecainide and 1,25 mg bisoprolol for my paroxysmal a f.
Now just got ectopic going on which is also unsettling
I was wondering if anyone has had this experience with prednisolone

During the time I had PMR I also had Paroxysmal AF and chronic asthma. I still had AF episodes, and episodes of bad asthma for which I was prescribed short high (40mg a day) courses of prednisolone.. The prednisolone I took for 4 years did not have any influence on the rate or severity of AF episodes .
