Head in the sand!....

One week since ablation.

Firstly I am doing great, since my cardioversion I have had nothing but 'Normal' my Kardia. This is a first...im scared of getting too excited but I'm definitely on the right road.

Anyway....had a lot of time to think this week. I started with the odd AF episode maybe 4 years ago. Then flutter raised its ugly head then the evil atrial tach appeared whilst I was cleaning my chickens out at 210bpm... sexy ambulance men...me covered in chicken poop...Arghh.

Anyway, 14 A&e admissions and 7 cardioversions later and to be honest years of my life wasted living in fear and scared to leave the house. Plus fatty deposits in my eyes from Amiodarone.

The ablation was nothing like I feared, the GA was my biggest fear but I'm perfectly fine and more thsn ready to go for my touch up for the tach...i feel great. I'm am the biggest drama queen in the world...ask BobD lol...I wrote my will got homes for my mogs.... I was surprised how casual it all was when I had it done.

Why I'm writing this is for those in doubt...please have it done...look how quickly mine progressed into other arrhythmias... I had my head in the sand for years thinking it may just bugger off, it didn't.

I'm nowhere near out of the woods yet and will need a touch up but feel so much better in a week. Take the bull by the horns and have it done...i would definatily recommend it.

Time to wake the other half up, I fancy going to Whitby for fish & chips ...Im milking this recovery time for all its worth ...every last drop!!

Love to all xxx
