Bless you, I'm so very sorry to hear this and send you my deepest sympathy.

I'm afraid nothing can sooth your deep sadness and heart wrenching pain right now, however, know that we are very grateful that you have taken the time to share the story of your immense loss with us.

Many people on this forum have suffered the loss of a partner they love and I hope they will be along soon to offer words that will, hopefully, give you a little support.

So sorry to hear that, how devastating. I recently went off my anticoagulant for emergency gallbladder surgery and now breast biopsy. I restart meds today, very scary.

My prayers will be with you and loved ones. I cannot imagine the pain you must feel. Take good care of yourself and keep us informed on how you are doing when you can. 💜

This was heartbreaking to read. Absolutely heartbreaking. I am so very sorry. This is a worry many have about stopping any anticoagulant. But thank God the drug allowed her to escape a stroke much earlier and that she lived as long as she did with you. Without the apixaban, she may would have gone way beforehand. Remember those wonderful times as each day was a gift. I am so very sorry for the loss of your wife.
