PVI Cryo ablation last Tuesday

Well folks I am still in hospital due to various complications which started with a bleed into the pericardial sac, seems to have punctured late on in the procedure. My EP has told me that he is hopeful that I will get a good result in time with the AF. The drain was removed yesterday but then within 20 minutes I developed severe abdominal pain and bloating. Last night I also went back into AF which they are trying to resolve with an IV betablocker. Tube into stomach to assist with draining some fluid. Seems that I have to have an MRI scan to see what's going on. Not the best result but heh onwards and upwards. Think I see an enema looming.

😱 What bad luck, I am so sorry you are having these problems. I hope you are able to avoid the dreaded enema and it turns out your system has just overreacted to the situation. Best wishes, please keep us updated 💜
