Hello martel - I take Nebilet (Nebivolol) but only 2.5mg.

I was changed from Bisoprolol to Nebilet because of breathlessness and fatigue and those symptoms have gone since I started taking some months ago. Are you having problems with it?

Thank you for your reply. I believe Nebilet is half Nebivolol and half something else. I was a bit concerned because it is such a high dose and I can't see where anyone takes that amount of any tablet. Apart from swollen feet and ankles (and I don't know whether I can blame the tablet for that) it seems to be OK so far.

I also changed from Bisoprolol to Nebivolol about 5 months ago but I take 5mg was on the same dosage of Biso. It has not caused any problems with swollen feet and ankles, something I have to be careful with as I also have heart failure. 10mg does seem quite a high dose were you on another medication before.

Thanks to everyone for their reply. I was on a high dose of Sotalol 160mg twice a day for a few years - had unsuccessful cardioversion and put on biso for a few weeks then Nebilet 10mg, Digoxin and Latix together - the latter for swollen feet and ankles. Just concerned about the high dose.
