All normal then. Raised heart rate is common typically 85-90 and may take a long time to return to "normal". Ditto migraine as explained in our fact sheet on recovery. Keep resting for at least another week and a half.

Hi Pam

It's early days after your ablation and you should soon start gradually feeling better. Try not to push yourself to do anything too much while you are feeling so exhausted. Next week you can, if you feel more energetic, start some gentle walks and very gradually build up. Please let us know how you progress.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Migraines are horrible. Keep resting. You know you are doing all the right things and thankfully no AF. As I am due to have my ablation in 11 days I really find your posts so helpful. Thank you.

Hi Pam. I was disappointed as I just want to get it over and done with but actually the date does work better for me as I live alone and have two dogs so need to set up things. Although I have four children two are in America, one will be on holiday and the other is also having an operation a few days before me! Luckily I have enough good friends around. Reading your posts is so helpful and reassuring. Thank you. Jill

Hi Jill I’ve got four children as well, they all work 2 self employed lol. I live alone, have a little circle of friends that are very good,no dogs but I think sometimes they would be a comfort. I have 12 grandchildren so plenty to help lol. Last night guess what AF back about 7pm didn’t have a goodnight, but this morning back to normal.i still feel exhausted up to now, the arrhythmia nurse did say this might happen so I’m not panicking at this stage (7day post ablation) I will keep you posted. wish you well xx

Pam

Thanks for the update. Rest well Pam x

Oh I had migraine headaches & aura as well after last ablation! I had forgotten that but you have reminded me. Rang hospital at the time & they said to take my own bld pressure to check & that was ok. They said my symptoms would pass & they did. Keep well hydrated & don’t overdo things. Take care.
