In my case it has controlled some of the effects of some SVT’s making the bouts which I do have shorter. I have a few minutes to 20 minutes of tachycardia usually about 100 to 120bpm and linked to ectopics. What has calmed the speed of my heart is a beta blocker - originally Bisoprolol and now Nebivolol.
The main thing Flecainide has done for me is to keep AF at bay, so far.
