Back from my check up πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸΌ

Well it’s gone well for me today and I pray it keeps going πŸ™πŸΌ hospital and EP are very happy with me at the moment and have told me to stop the warfarin as of today. They said I am in the low range of the Chad score and to carry on with my lifestyle I am doing now . If AF does return in the future they will address it, I am a bit nervous about coming off my little safety umbrella β˜‚ but they said there has been no sign of any problems since my first and only run I had of a fast PAF in 2016 . We no I had nothing before this because I am symptomatic and feel every thing and had the loop in for 3 years before that episode. Did the other rhythms SVT , SVES, over the years flip me into one episode of it ? Who knows πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ but I will try and enjoy my time off it for the moment. I was reassured that going so long with no AF and being on warfarin was better off the warfarin as the risk of bleeding. I also found a lot more out about apixaban and the new ones if I do have to go back on them in the future. I have got to learn to stop panicking about this because I felt like I was in that place of do I risk a bleed or a stroke situation but that has now been taken away from me , what is meant to be will be but for now I will try and live a healthy lifestyle as best I can and try calm down my anxiety issues. My EP mr Stafford is probably one of the most skilled EPs going , and would definitely recommend him to anyone who is going to have an ablation procedure. If I need another in the future I will go to him again πŸ™πŸΌ

That is good news Sam :-) I am very pleased for you .

I think the first thing you should do is not worry that AF will come back because worrying might make it happen.

Enjoy every day while still keeping an eye on a healthy lifestyle which should help to give your body the best chance of staying AF free.

Good news Sam. Now hopefully you can put it all behind you.

As you might remember I had my last ablation a week before yours was done.

I too am pretty stable but have to still take Warfarin and Flecainide a small price to pay I think.

It seems the planets were all in alignment for us last August.

It’s always good to hear great news especially in the arena of AFib. Makes me look forward to my ablation (first) with less worry when I see all the success stories on the feed πŸ‘πŸΌ
