Isosorbide mononitrate

Hi I suffer from PAF and was prescribed isosorbide mononitrate for angina in January which came on during an attack .

I also take 2.5 mg bisoprolol morning and night which I have been taking for 4 years.

I think the isosorbide is causing an increase I ectopic beats, tiredness and fluid retention. I also have had 3 episodes of AF the past 6 weeks resulting in visits to A ans E . I am wondering if this could be the isosorbide . Does anyone have these side effects .

Unfortunately I suspect it's not the nitrate doing it but the heart itself. Ask for an echo-cardiagram to see if something is changing inside
