Hi was just wondering how long people have waited between the two stages have had pad for about 3 years am 48 and diabetic have had a few cardioversions none of which lasted more than a few weeks in nsr first stage was done on Nov 6 2017 at Derryford and feel worse than before I had it done

I thought hybrid was surgical and catheter ablation combined. Also thought usually done together?

Was told there is a few months inbetween to recover but am not really hearing anything from Derryford other than the first guy saying I was healing ok and the second bit would be soon

Hello, so sorry you feel worse after the first part. Your post worries me as I am soon to have a hybrid ablation at derriford. I would be grateful if you would tell me of your experience. It would be so helpful. Thank you in advance. Terry

Normally three months I thought. Why not e mail your EP?

I was told that the second had to be between 3 and 6 months after. This was to meet the requirements of the clinical trial I was part of, not sure if tnere is a medical reason for this timescale.

Check my posts. I felt terrible in the few weeks after my first, the second was in october and i feel almost back to normal.
