Heart speeded up and then went back to normal?

Hi back in Feb 2017 I had a cryblation cane off rivaroxaban in July had monitor on for a week in September and the check up 2 weeks ago results showed some ectopic beats which I do have every now and then but cardiologist said it normal..so now he as halved my dosage of bisopralol from 5mg to 2.5mg and said hopefully I will be off them by early next year. But yesterday after getting the washing in off line..my heart went fast for a few seconds and had to cough twice and it went back to normal..havent had that for about 5 months..now I'm scared my af is gonna return or is it just dropping my dosage on beta blockers? Scared mummy age 37

Sadly you need to go through this to see if you can survive without drugs following your ablation. It is very common for some reaction when stopping drugs or reducing dosage so please try not to worry. Most of us have experienced this when getting off these drugs.

Thank you for your reply I knew I'd feel something coming down in the dosage was fine coming off the blood thinners just have to see how i go x

Yes but anticoagulants don't have any rebound problems.
