Cold legs and feet and difficulty breathing

My difficulty breathing has got worse lately so my GP has increased my Bisoprolol to 7.5mg and discontinued my Candesartan. My bp and pulse are relatively normal but I keep getting cold legs and feet followed by a feeling as if I'm trying to breath through fog or at high altitude. I've been getting palpitations after this then all stops for a while and then it starts again.

Anyone any ideas as to what's causing it?

Most likely bisoprolol judging by other memeber's experience. Luckily I never took this devils spawn so can't talk for myself.

I was on bisop for a few months whilst awaiting ablation and it made me very breathless. It is a known side effect. Seems a bit strange that when you complained of breathlessness your GP increased the dose???

Have you seen an EP?

I'm due to see the cardiologist in a few weeks so hopefully they will sort things if it's still problematic. I'm hoping it's just my body adjusting to the higher dose but we'll see.

Thanks

Hi. I have been on bisoprolol since first diagnosed with persistent AF through having a nasty bout of pneumonia and spending 6 nights in hospital last spring. Had to wait 3 months for DCCV in June 2016 which lasted for 2 months, followed by another 7 months 24/7 AF until DCCV 2 March 2017 and back in NSR since then. Still taking all the meds - flec, bisop, candesartan, furosemide and apixaban. I take everything first thing in the morning except for the 5mg bisoprolol which I've learnt is better to take in the evening - then if it makes me fall asleep it is in the late evening and that's fine. My husband thinks it make me snore more though......after 31 years of his snoring, I reckon it time to get my own back!

Take my Bisoprolol at night helps me a bit
