Brush this, for the time being, to one side if you can, though make a note of it. You've done well not to have a hiccup any earlier. Is it slightly fast but regular? Ongoing? See how you go and perhaps give it more time before you attach too much significance to it as wobbles can happen for a few months and then cease.

Early days yet, you get plenty of things happen in first 6 months.

good luck

Don't worry about it !!!!!

Your heart's had a really tough time with the ablation and it can take months to get back to normal but the fact it's gone 40 days in perfect rhythm shows it's on the right track. You'll be fine.

I had loads of ups and downs in the first three months and felt very downhearted but now four months post ablation I am doing well with minimal short episodes and am completely off beta blockers.

I'm 8 weeks post ablation and have had 3 episodes like yours 2 quite short lived and one for 5/6 hrs.....this was at the4/5 week mark and like you I was quite down initially as we want the ablation to completely cure us immediately. Keep positive; I took the great advice offered on here about it being early days and the heart adjusting and once I got into that head space I felt loads better.

Good Luck

I had the same experience after 6 weeks, but the rapid heartbeat lasted only 2 minutes. It's been two weeks since then with no new episodes thus far.

I am 1 week post ablation. I had a full on episode. Heart rate between 130-140. Blood presure dropped passed out. Stayed in hospital for 2 nights. This lasted for 8-9 hours. Startaed back at work yesterday. All is well again. I am just taking one day at a time.
