Just had second ablation

I am two days postop and feel really good. My a fib ablation, was about five hours the doctor found some scar tissue on my left ventricle and that seemed to be the cause of the problem causing the arrhythmia No clue how the scar tissue got there being it was the first time anybody has ventured into the left ventricle. Does anybody have any theories on this? So he speeded up my heart I went into a fib and he Did extensive zapping.

Good news no pain in both groins, no pain in the chest and frankly no pain any place and feel really good. Walked up the stairs and didn't feel as windef either. Previously I couldn't walk 30 feet without getting winded. Has me in all types of drugs like Xeralto, Metropol A water pill. But he said I could be off everything in a couple months.A water pill. But he said I could be off everything in a couple months.

I have read no coffee no alcohol being they could trigger a fib again. is that correct?

Also, and I know this is very uncommon, I previously slept on a mattress that was a lined with very thick powerful magnets which is known as magnet Theaepy.,

it is very controversial some people don't think it works other people swear by it I loved it I have had other surgeries like hip replacement and back surgeries and I always felt that it help me.

However I'm thinking it can't be good for my heart being one of the instructions on sleeping on a magnet mattress is that you can't have a pacemaker.

So I took it off the bed .

so that's it I'll keep you all posted .

All sounds positive. I hope you didn't take it off the bed as you are supposed to be resting and not straining at all. There are those who have blamed their phones for causing elctromagnetic interference and starting their AF so probably a good thing to get rid of it.

Hey Bob,

Wifey took it off bed. Just didn't want to take the chance. If it can effect a pacemaker who knows. Probably uncharted waters.

How long before I can start daily adtivity..No groin swelling or pain so far...

The usual advice here is two weeks minimum. First week TV remote only second you can make the tea. It takes three to six months for the heart to fully heal so best listen to your body and make haste slowly.

Wow I hope your recovery continues - you must be delighted. Good Luck and be kind to yourself.
