I am not seeking an ablation but rather a general checkup re. my long term AF,perhaps an echo cardiogram,ECG and up date re. my 'dodgy' tricuspid valve. No advice for c 6 years just continuing to take the tablets.Lovely GP is overworked and being advised not to send too may people for checkups to local hospital re. costings.Any advice on a good electro. to go to for advice....thorough professionalism is top of the list...'a 'nice' person! follows.

Thank you meadfoot.I do not think my GP would refer me on the NHS.I want an overall AF checkup after 6+ years of AF plus severe tricuspid problem....so a few tests needed.Outwardly, I am in 'good nick' but I think it is time for a review.

I too attended St Thomas' hospital and had ablation there in Nov 2013. Am af free since.

I saw Mark O'Neill who was very practical and gave me information and choices. He showed respect for me and my ability to absorb information and make my own choices based on that.

I think there is a list of EPs on the afa website.

With browser access, if you click on the down arrow, you can then edit your post. Using this site can be quite challenging for us older folk don't you think? I sometimes struggle even though I am reasonably techminded for a 69 year old 🙂

My EP is Dr. Tushar Salukhe @ Royal Brompton & Harefield. Very professional and thorough. I recommend him highly.

His PA is super responsive and helpful too.
