Hi everyone

Unfortunately due to having high heart rates and still having AF episodes after my 3rd ablation ive had to go on nebivolol. Has anyone tried these tablets if so any side effects.

Hello hirwaun, Nebivolol is a beta blocker with the most common side effect being fatigue. Sometimes it can make the heart rate slower than it should be so speak with your clinician about what the lowest acceptable heart rate would be for you and check your pulse from time to time. Be well.

Hi - I've been on it for about 10 years now without problems. I was previously on Atenolol with some issues and was switched to Nebivolol. Originally I was a bit concerned that it was targeted at geriatric patients (I'm 67 now) but have no complaints about it and it seems to work. Am also on Ramipril - the 2 work together.

Thanks for that I am also 67. My Resting HR is coming down very quickly also when I'm walking no more extremely high HR. So fingers crossed.

I was taking a small dose of Nebivolol for about 6 weeks and after sleeping for an hour or so, spent the rest of the night awake.
