Bisoprol itching

Have had my bisoprol doubled to 5mg,and have developed an itchy rash on my stomach,does anybody know if this will go away eventually please

I had this. I went to pharmacist who gave me loratadine anti histamine. This helped. I also stopped bisoprolol to check itch went away whilst not on the drug. I can now use the drug with no itch.

I have rashes over my body, mainly on arms and legs, and scalp itches. When you say you stopped bisoprolol to check itch went away, but can use the drug with no itch, how long between those events? My GP basically said, we have hundreds of people on bisoprolol and no one has a rash or itch. The patient's leaflet says it's rare (less than 1 person in a 1,000 who take it), so not surprised that no-one else has it.
