After going back into NSR on sat AF came back in the night had some strange feelings so went to GP this morning he thinks I may have had a small TIA have to have a carotid Doppler grrrr

Transient ischeamic attack. In other words a mini stroke.

A carotid doppler only identifies TIAs caused by narrowing of the carotid artery, not strokes caused by AF. You need and MRI scan for that but it's probably too late now, as a TIA is transient by nature.

OK that's fine. It's worth taking every precaution you can to prevent a recurrence of course - controlling weight, sugar levels, BP, exercise every day, etc. The best of luck and I hope you do well.
