I started my journey a year ago so I am a newbie and I remember clearly how afraid I was of the first CV and also my abalation. I live in Texas and this site has been so helpful. I was petrified but the nurses were wonderful. They put in an IV. Rolled me in a little room, gave me propocal (probably wrong spelling)...it's what Michael Jackson took....and I woke up immediately after and felt wonderful. being in NSR is so nice. My problem is they don't last on me so have had an abalation in October and another CV a few weeks later and have been in NSR since. pLease don't be scared with this. The worse thing for me was putting in the IV.
