Tapping???

Hey All...Would someone please tell me about tapping? I have many medical woes and wonder if this is something that would help me. I'm on several meds...thyroid, blood pressure, amitriptyline, Thanks!!!!!!!!! bhohstadt

What do you mean by tapping? I had light tapping on the left of my chest almost under my armpit. It was monitored and discovered to be a little bit of AF. But don't know what tapping you mean?

Do you mean EFT? Emotional Freedom technique? Never tried it but a friend did. He thought it was a sort of self hypnosis, sort of positive thinking. Sorry, can't tell you any more than that.

Not too sure what you mean by tapping, unless you are talking about the Metamorphic Technique, which involves tapping, head hands and feet. This has more to do with helping emotions, rather than physical complaints.

Do you mean a type of alternative therapy for emotional support, processing, resolution, etc? In my work experience, it is adjunct to traditional medical treatment. Look for a certified and experienced practitioner who could coordinate with medical. I used something similar with clients, called EMDR. You can Google what that means. There are many mental health practitioners trained in these techniques in UK and throughout the world.
