flecanide and afib

I want to thank everyone for their kind and informative replys!!!! I take flecanide twice a day everyday for afib that did not respond to other treatments. I have had three ablasions.

I was very interested to see the replies to your post as I had been confused by advice that I had been given pre-ablation.

Post-ablation I take 2.5 Bisoprolol to help my heart which has scarring due to radiotherapy. It reduces my heart rate fom about 80 to 65. I have occasional mild AF which I can stop within an hour or so with 50 Flecainide as a pill-in-the-pocket. It was suggested that I use 100 strength but 50 does the trick ( for now )
