I`m sure this must have been posted before, but I have just read it and it feels like a cathartic moment.

That is spooky Timmo, I was just reading the same article before I came back onto the forum. Food for thought, a very interesting article.

It just underlines how important it is to look at our bodies and see what can be done to help our hearts heal as opposed to dumping more toxins down our throats which, admittedly, keep us alive but with major side effects for some drugs.

I just have to look at how much my AF has improved - well so far its basically disappeared! - since i started taking magnesium.

Hard core prescriptive medicine is not always the best answer.

Some very interesting comments underneath the article too. Well thought out from all sides of the subject. Thanks for putting it on.

Thanks for pointing to the comments as well. All from health professionals, some with AF as well. If you plough through to the end there is quite a bit about magnesium too!

I had visited this site before but hadn't followed up the comments. Struck me as very balanced in their approach.

Interesting since the approach in the UK is a) to concentrate on stroke risk rather than heart health for AF patients and b) to use intervention (drugs, ablations etc).
