Not sure how to answer this but I do know ectopics make my body shake..I've not exercised properly since both my PVIs so thanks for mentioning this. Are you on any meds or have you had and treatment? If you've overdone it I know that exercise can sometimes make you feel this way or even nauseous...

hi

AF 24/7 14 years.

funny this should be mentioned. I am also sat sitting now after doing some very light raking on my lawn for about 30mins. Always feel OK during the exercise but this feeling of complete exhaustion comes on after maybe 10-15 mins of stopping. Like you there is a strange sensation of something along with the exhaustion that I never used to get.

Also do get a shaking when I go to bed, sometimes wake up with it, but usually turn to the right and at least I cant feel it

Not really nausea, but both arms and legs feel so heavy and wasted. Feel like I need to go to sleep for a couple of hours. And yes an anxious feeling is what it could be described as.

Most days are getting like this.

Mentioned it to Cardio last time I saw her, but nothing done or even suggested. Just keep taking the Bisop and aspirin, and warfarin and ramipril, over 10 years on all of these meds.

So no idea if anything else is slowly happening.

I've had that occasionally. Scared the bejasus out of me. I'm glad I'm not alone...

Do you think it's AF? Or the meds that do it cos heart is def not racing or jumping around .

I don't know but it just feels as though I'm shaking inside

It just happens, at one stage I thought it was due to eating anything contains sugar but don't really have an explanation.

YES I thought I was alone, I too get this strange feeling of apprehension and fear.

I think it is anxiety due to the fact I am waiting for something to kick off. I think spending so many years being very aware of my heart, it's become ingrained in my subconscious mind and am still feeling every hop and bump of it. My EP agrees that the Brain Heart connection is very real. I've just embarked on a course Headspace, ( mindfulness meditation) the Calm app is also a good free app. Hope this helps.

All the best.

Mick

I exercise regularly and when not in AF, I don't really have any symptoms, but when in AF I do suffer from dizzy spells and adjust my exercise to accommodate. As Loo states, could it be your medicine? I attended the patients day this year and DR Thomas stated if you're on Flecainide you shouldn't exercise for up to 12 hours after taking it. This came as a bit of a shock to a few of us, as I have never heard this before and still can't find anything to back it up, but Dr Thomas was quite adamant.

Is this if you have flec as pill in pocket.? I take it every 12 hours all the time.

Have only had one episode since starting flec but get the symptoms described by gerryatric every couple of weeks or so so blame the pills.

That's a very good point Bagrat and one I didn't ask. I take 100MG twice daily 12 hours apart, so I assumed (Rightly or wrongly) that it was any method. It hasn't stopped me, as I don't have any side effects at all, other than it doesn't work great for me. I will however discuss this with my EP.
