What do these abbreviations mean?

Hi,

Just been to see my GP the detailed report from the EP had arrived following my recent Ablation.Which read as follows.

Pulmonary Vein isolation under GA...In AF at onset -----LUPV very active.

Terminated to SR towards completion of L WACA

My GP who is completely without "ego" had not been presented with this terminology before and suggested I post on the Forum...

It is the LUPV and L WACA that we are unsure of...

Carol, I've just carried out a google search and come up with these; 'Left Upper Pulminery Vein' and 'Wide Area Circumferential Ablation' .
