Can anybody tell me if you have to stop taking Pradaxa before having a cystoscopy. They mention about warfarin in but not pradaxa. I have tried to speak to the urology department but not had any reply yet.

I would think so if only for a short while. Ask hospital switchboard for your consultants secretary and put the question to them. Is there a urology specialist nurse who may know. Also if you do have to stop do you have to use something else . When I stopped warfarin for surgery I had heparin injections . Good luck
