My Cardiologist has prescribed for me..... Verampamil(calcium blocker), MetoprololTartr(Beta Blocker), Lisinopril( ACE inhibitor), Hydrochlorothiazide(diuretic) My diagnosis is Hypertorpic Cardiomyopathy. -- Wednesday i have an echo scheduled(to see if enlarged Left Atria is an issue). I am also taking Levothyroxine.... and Bupropion HCL XL(probably because taking so many other drugs is depressing). I have etopic heartbeats, most are not severe, but i get double vision that can last anywhere from a few seconds to more than 15minutes.(this DOES knock my socks off). I read the uses of each over and over, but i can't seem to make it sink in. Is there an easy way to understand all of this?

Hi. It all sounds awful. A lot of those meds are to treat and keep in check the Hypertropic Cardiomyopathy. Ace inhibitors, Diuretics, and the others, treat the AF or other irregular hneartbeat you might be experiencing.

I suggest you contact the Cardiomyopathy Society cardiomyopathy.org/ immediately and they will be able to explain ALL. I'm sure they will be able help with any concerns which seem overwhelming.

Be well and cardinal rule no 1, DON'T PANIC
