Bad couple of days and ended back in hospital again.

Had a rough couple of days had loads of palpatations and feeling very light headed went to hospital to get checked out and ECG showed I had loads of PVC and pauses sent to ccu and had overnight stay had a series of episodes of VT, dr's have put me back on low dose of bisoprosol feels as if back to square one again. Still it's early days. Now back at home resting, dr did say it would be a tough couple of months and to expect simalar episodes. And to get checked out if they last more than a couple of hours.

Sorry to hear what's been happening to you John. This AF is a real pain in the backside and we certainly get some worrying moments. Are you still having your ablation in a few weeks time?

I had the ablation done on the 26th i was feeling great until last wednesday and it all started to kick off again lasted a couple of hours and was ok then came back on thursday so went to a&e to get checked out.

I have similar situation here , where I was admitted to ER ten days back , same VT.

I'm suffering from ectopic beats , PVC s long time back after my open heart surgery years ago

Also my doctor reduced for me my rhythm control dose which is sotalol

I'm going to have another EPS and will decide the treatment based on the findings , one of my doctors mentioned something called ICD should be planted !? I guess

John, it's still very early days for you. You have to wait at least 3 months for scar tissue to form and block those rogue channels that cause AF. Like you I had problems after my second ablation in June, resulting in a 6 day stay in hospital. I had a cardioversion just over two weeks ago and now, fingers crossed, am well again.

I agree with Jean , it is still early , I was admitted to E&R few times during recovery period from ablation , but I really feel a lot better now that before

My ablation was to treat atrial flutter and it did till now thank god , but had few bad days after ablation full of PVCs and SVT

My suffering now is related to VT which was not covered by EP study due to lack of doctors experience here

Hi John - this condition does some strange things to us. In my last stint in hospital ( I now call it the hotel on the hill) I saw the ceiling covered in ants. Only realised they were in my head when I saw a mouse up there too.

It is a worry when they remember ur name.

Sorry to hear that John. What an awful condition this is. It feels as though we have a time bomb strapped to our chest waiting for it to explode. Don't really know how we manage but somehow we do, not much choice really is there. Hope things settle down soon. At least the ablation is behind you and over time things will ease for you. Grit your teeth in the meantime. Best wishes.
