so now what do i do ? had my first af attack dec last year. had an ablation the end of may. so inbetween ive had two svt attacks .

so now they tell me i need another ablation. only this time the list is 9 months long . so now what am i gonna do with myself ? ive already bin sat on me ass for ten months . and no i cant work cause the company i worked for sacked me while i was off sick. im 50 and i feel like my life is over

Same situation here , but I'm having frequent SVT nearly daily since my ablation and sotalol hardly controlling it

You case seems more stable than me , are you having any medication to control SVT ? Ablation is not the only treatment it should be the last option actually .

My symptoms improved after sotalol but not fully controlled I'm still having those episodes but I'm going to work as normal and driving for an hour daily to work even I'm tired and scared , what to do?

You maybe more lucky since you episodes are less and medication may control your symptoms completely for the time being .

There should be a suitable treatment to manage SVT currently before the ablation

I choosed not to have ablation soon , since I don't trust the doctors here anymore , I started with AF now SVT what is next!

My plan to try drugs for few months if it didn't work I may think of ablation again

Hi Maitha . For a lot of people ablation should be the first line of treatment as the quicker thay can stop it the better

hi maitha . they say the first ablation is only a warm up . so i think its brave of you to say no to op. ive only just started new meds . so im still feeling pretty rough . where are you from and have you got a waiting list??
