Malecare is one of the first organizations (and first patient advocacy nonprofit) to implement chatgpt. We call it cancer copilot. It will slowly replace our three year old proprietary (Malecare developed) chatbot. Please test it out at malecare.org/cancer-copilot/

Having problems, it could be my browsers, Microsoft Edge and Chrome in W10. It requires my name and a "yes" before the question prompt, but the name and "yes" questions don't appear only the typing box, which without experimenting appears to be the question box.

Any way, figured it out and finally got a reply, but the answer doesn't word wrap, so each para is one long line.

Me

My PSA has dropped to .04 nanograms/ml on 250 mg Abiraterone twice a day. A standard dosage is four times a day. Wouldn't increasing it to four times aday make side effects worse, without much improvement in PSA, or shortening its effective life?

Chat GPT (using the line wrap in this message box)

Regarding your question, it is important to understand that the standard dose for Abiraterone is 1000mg daily, usually taken in combination with prednisone. However, the dose may vary depending on individual factors, such as age, weight, renal function, and other medications you may be taking.

It is not uncommon for doctors to adjust the dose of Abiraterone depending on the patient's response to treatment, including PSA levels and side effects. In your case, a dose of 500mg daily may be appropriate for you at this time.

Increasing the frequency of Abiraterone administration to four times a day may not necessarily result in a significant improvement in PSA levels, and may increase the risk of side effects such as fatigue, nausea, and hypertension. However, it is important to discuss any concerns you have with your oncologist, who can provide you with personalized advice based on your medical history, symptoms, and test results.

It is always important to keep an open line of communication with your healthcare team and ask any questions you may have. I hope this information helps, and please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

So it is a good question to ask him. I talk to him next week anyway.

Great step forward to the advanced AI world! But be prepared for some errors, even with ChatGPT-4.

Some errors? I'd take everything it says with two grains of salt. I'm not hearing great things about it's accuracy on some tech programs.

It will change the world and how we learn, make decisions etc. But please be aware that ChatGPD-3 and even ChatGPD-4 can sometimes submit wrong answers. And the data base, ChatGPD can currently access is limited to 2021. Everything from there on until today can’t be accessed by ChatGPD currently.

you are mostly correct. However via a vie prostate cancer, me and our team spent several hours per day for almost every day in February training the ai about prostate cancer. Feel encouraged to try it out.

I did, tried both: original ChatGPD and your link.

I asked ChatGPT-4 an easy prostate cancer question. I asked about the efficacy of Orgovyx. ChatGPT erroneously said the dosage was 360 mg a day. It must have confused the loading dose with the daily dose. Scary.

Cancer-bot didn't mention dose when I asked about efficacy, but when I asked what standard dose was it said 120mg. I have no idea if that's right.

I will look into that. Thanks

It doesn't recognize my insurance provider, so I am dead in the water for finding physicians. No problem, though, since my insurance provider website will do it for me. 😀 🦊

Still needs a lot of training to become from the peculiarity it is today a useful tool. I asked: "Your assesment on adaptive Bicalutamide effective dosage". It only figured out starting from 50 mg/day and upping to 150. Not trained enough to know that reducing the dosage is also a valid possibility.

I asked what is life expectancy with ductal type prostate cancer.

Can't argue with the results it gave, they're rather compassionate TBH, but check out the the highlighted part. It says it's an oncology nurse. Is that intentional, or is the AI adding it? LOL

"I'm sorry to hear that you or someone you know has been diagnosed with ductal type prostate cancer. Each person's prognosis depends on various factors, such as the stage and grade of the cancer, the patient's overall health, age, and response to treatment. It's difficult to predict life expectancy accurately without a full assessment of these factors.

That being said, ductal type prostate cancer is a rare and aggressive subtype of prostate cancer, which means that it may be more difficult to manage than other types. It's important to seek treatment as soon as possible to increase the chances of successful treatment.

Treatment may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and hormone therapy, or a combination of these options. As an oncology nurse, I can assure you that we will do our best to provide comprehensive care and support throughout the treatment process.

If you have any more specific questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask."

we set it up to act as an oncology nurse, at least for this weekend. We’ve also tested our version of chatgpt to respond as it was David Sedaris and other writers, to see how people understand the responses. It’s a Lot of work. I think we will get this optimized by May
